Bauxite is a naturally occurring, high-aluminum ore composed mainly of gibbsite (Al(OH)₃), boehmite (AlO(OH)), and diaspore (AlO(OH)). It is the primary source for producing alumina (Al₂O₃), which is further refined into aluminum metal. Due to its high alumina content and excellent thermal properties, bauxite is widely used in the refractory, ceramic, and metallurgical industries.

Typical Chemical Composition:

  • Al₂O₃: 45–60%
  • Fe₂O₃: 2–25%
  • SiO₂: 1–10%
  • TiO₂: 1–6%
  • CaO + MgO: < 1%
  • Loss on Ignition (LOI): 12–15%

Technical Benefits:

  • High alumina levels for strong structural and thermal performance
  • Excellent resistance to high temperatures and chemical wear
  • Ideal for producing heat-resistant refractory materials
  • Low silica options available to minimize impurities in alumina production
  • Consistent grain structure for industrial stability

Industrial Applications:

  • Alumina and aluminum metal production
  • Refractory bricks, kiln linings & castables
  • Ceramic formulations
  • Abrasive tools and blasting media
  • Chemical grade processing for alumina compounds

Our bauxite meets strict quality and grading standards, ensuring consistent performance for both metallurgical and industrial applications.
