Soda Feldspar, primarily composed of sodium aluminosilicate (NaAlSi₃O₈), is a key industrial mineral widely used in ceramics, glass, and glaze formulations. Its balanced chemical composition provides excellent fluxing properties, enabling manufacturers to reduce firing temperatures while maintaining product strength and stability.

Chemical Composition (Typical):

  • SiO₂: 66–70%
  • Al₂O₃: 17–20%
  • Na₂O: 7–12%
  • K₂O: 0.5–4%
  • Fe₂O₃: < 0.2%
  • CaO: < 0.5%

Key Technical Benefits:

  • Efficient Flux: Lowers melting point, ensuring improved vitrification.
  • Enhanced Strength: Contributes to high mechanical strength and scratch resistance in ceramic bodies.
  • Improved Glaze Quality: Produces smooth, glossy surface finishes with excellent chemical stability.
  • Thermal Stability: Enhances resistance to thermal shock and deformation during firing.
  • Consistency: Offers uniform particle size distribution, improving production efficiency.

Industrial Applications:

  • Ceramic tiles & body formulations
  • Glazes and frits
  • Glass manufacturing (flat glass, container glass)
  • Sanitary ware and tableware
  • Porcelain insulators

Our Soda Feldspar is processed to meet strict quality parameters, ensuring reliable results for high-performance industrial applications.
